History of the „MAJONEZY” Production and Trade Labour Co-Operation in Kętrzyn has begun in 1945.

At that time in a coffee roasting plant formerly owned by Germans, a small team of 12 staff began to roast chicory coffee and coffee beans. That plant was then called „Kętrzyńska Roasting Plant of Chicory Coffee”. In 1958 the plant’s name was changed to Production Plant CZSS „Społem” in Kętrzyn. This was the time of total modernization and reconstruction of the plant. The company transformed into production plant of food concentrates. It mainly produced pudding, fruit cream, jelly, cake flavours, baking powder.

We were on the fourth place on the list of Polish manufacturers of Mayonnaise. In 1962 our company launched production of Mayonnaise on an industrial scale. In 1973 the company launched production of cake concentrates such as Kętrzyński gingebread, Lemon traditional cake, Traditional cake, Mud pie, Poppy cake.

 We knew how to make advantage of the market challenges From 1989 production increase forced us to further develop the plant. After 1990 it gained its independence and the whole team decided to set up Labour Co-Operation. In 1990s the company underwent dynamic changes resulting from the new market reality.

We are proud to have modern production line. At the end of 2001 the company changed its name to „MAJONEZY” SPPH. A new packets’ design and company logo were introduced. In 2005 modern production hall was solemnly opened. It is now a production place of mayonnaise, mustards and sauces. To meet the needs of our clients we have employed the latest equipment into our machinery resources. This allows us to enlarge the scale and range of our goods.
